Most common: Drowsiness; dry mouth; constipation; blurred vision; dizziness; bloating. Limbitrol (not available in Canada) may be habit-forming and may cause dependence. Contact your doctor before increasing the dose or stopping Limbitrol (not available in Canada). Stop taking Limbitrol (not available in Canada) gradually to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

How should I take Limbitrol (not available in Canada)?

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Limbitrol (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Avoid consuming alcohol and other mental depressants while taking Limbitrol (not available in Canada). Do not use Limbitrol (not available in Canada) in combination with MAOIs or within 14 days of stopping treatment with an MAOI. After stopping Limbitrol (not available in Canada), wait at least 14 days before starting an MAOI. Lab tests may be required during treatment. Be sure to keep appointments. Limbitrol (not available in Canada) may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. If you take Limbitrol (not available in Canada) more than once a day, take the larger portion at bedtime. Some patients may only need a single dose at bedtime. Do not stop taking Limbitrol (not available in Canada) without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Limbitrol (not available in Canada). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
