Most severe: Difficulty breathing; shock (changes in skin color); sudden chest pain; fast or slow heartbeat; pounding in the chest; seizure; hallucinations; swelling of the face or throat.

Most common: Constipation; nausea; vomiting; lightheadedness; dizziness; exaggerated sense of well-being; drowsiness; sweating; restless mood.

Other: Swelling; changes in taste; chills; muscle tremor; rigid muscles; pounding in the chest; faintness; fainting; dry mouth; loss of appetite; spasms of the voice box; urinary problems; changes in sex drive; cramps; diarrhea; muscle movements; seizure; abnormal skin sensations; uncontrolled mood changes; abnormal dreams; disorientation; changes in vision; sleeplessness; hives; itching; rash; blurred vision; double vision; rapid eye movements; pinpointed pupils. How much medicine you take and how often it is taken depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight. Do not take any over-the-counter or prescription medications or dietary supplements without talking with your health care provider. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Oramorph (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, restart medication and advise your health care provider at your next appointment.
