Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) helps relieve the inflammation and pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, menstrual cramps or premenstrual pain and swelling.

Do not take Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) or to similar medications.

Before using Oruvail (ketoprofen SR), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, plan on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking or planning to take any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition if you have high blood pressure asthma, especially aspirin-sensitive asthma, bleeding problems, cigarette smoking, diabetes mellitus, if you drink more than 3 alcohol-containing beverages a day, heart failure, high blood pressure, kidney disease, liver disease, lost a lot of fluid due to continued vomiting or diarrhea, stomach or duodenal ulcers, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis

You may get dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) affects you. Do not sit or stand up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. This reduces the risk of dizzy or fainting spells. Do not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol; these increase irritation to your stomach and can make it more susceptible to damage from Oruvail (ketoprofen SR). It is especially important not to use Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically directed to do so by your health care provider. Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.

Other: Flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, muscle aches and pains)

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Oruvail (ketoprofen SR). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.

Store Oruvail (ketoprofen SR) at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.
