Albuterol and ipratropium belong to a class of medications known as bronchodilators. Their mechanism of action involves relaxing and expanding the air passages in the lungs, thereby facilitating easier breathing.
Uses and Dosage
The combination of albuterol and ipratropium is available in two forms: a liquid solution for inhalation using a nebulizer, which converts the medication into a mist for inhalation, and a spray for inhalation using an inhaler.
Typically, it is inhaled four times a day. Adhere to the prescribed directions for the use of albuterol and ipratropium.
Avoid exceeding or reducing the prescribed dosage, and refrain from using it more frequently than instructed by your doctor.
