This medicine is indicated for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.Store in a dry place at room temperature between 59 – 86F. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. Take this medicine first thing in the morning at least 1 hour (60 minutes) before you eat or drink anything other than plain water, or take any other medicine. Take each dose with a full glass (6 to 8 ounces) of tap water or bottled water. Do not crush, chew, or suck the pills. Swallow them whole.
