Do not give this medicine for pain for more than 5 days or for fever for more than 3 days unless directed to do so by a health care provider. If pain or fever persists or gets worse, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, consult a health care provider. These could be signs of a serious condition. Diabetes patients — This medicine may affect your child’s blood sugar levels. Your doctor may need to change the amount of diabetes medicine your child is taking.
