This medicine is used to treat Depressive illnesses like Obsessive-Compulsive disorder in patients over 18 years of age.Store at controlled room temperature (between 59 and 86 degrees F). This medicine may be taken without regard to food, but usually at bedtime. Do not use if you are taking MAOIs or within 14 days of stopping treatment with an MAOI. Wait for at least 2 weeks to use an MAOI after stopping treatment with this medicine. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking while taking this medicine. This medicine may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or impaired judgment. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Notify your health care provider if rash, hives, other signs of allergic reaction, or seizures develop while using this medicine. This medicine may not be as effective if you smoke. Do not take over-the-counter or prescription medications. herbal preparations, or dietary supplements without talking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine or change the dose unless advised to do so by your health care provider.
